Day 1: Introductions

The Hot Tub:

Lisa worked her way over to the back of the classroom, wheeling over to the door. She leaned behind her chair to face where Jason stood.

"It's a little crowded here, and it might get tough to move around. I'm gonna wait in the hallway, okay?"

She exited the room carefully and placed herself on the other side of the hall, adjusting to face the door.

"God, Jack, why'd you make me go here... I know it your last wish, but jeese... Place is weirding me out." Jason sighed as he waked down the halls, his hands in the pockets of his jacket. Then he chuckled to hismelf. "Ok, maybe your last wish wasn't me going here, but still..."

He twirled his coral ring. "Right, tea room's comin on the right after this turn..."

Dark blinked at Rachel curiously. "Really do they look blue? I was told lilac most time."

He also seemed puzzled by the Sherlock Holmes comment. "Sherlock a American fiction person? I do not know." He seemed to resign himself after a moment. "Is ok. Not important. Where are we going?"

The Tea Room:

Antoine stepped in and frowned.

"It's literally a giant hot tub. That's not very funny."

Despite that remark, he smirked. His eyes widened slightly and he briskly moved to the opposite end of the room.

"What's with the windows...? That's not very funny either."

As miranda entered the room, she noticed she wasn't the only personhere. "Hey there!" She called out, her voice peppy.

Though she made a beeline for the towels. "God it's warm! Fuck yeah!" She pulled a few towels out of the rack, draping them over herself. "Fuck yeah towels!" She cheered, beaming.

Claire came upon the door to the Sitting Room and looked up and down at it as if she was about to fight it; terrified. She made a peeping noise as she opened the door, but when nothing jumped out at her, she slowly walked in.

"H- Hello...?"

"Sherlock Holmes is a British detective! He's pretty cool!" Minerva said. "So everyone gets a nickname and we go! Sounds fun!"

Antoine turned and grinned when he noticed Miranda. The smile faded quickly.

"Miss Tawfeek, right? Can you come help me with this? There's something on the window, and it's quite an eyesore."

Cobalt went from looking at the group to Minerva and back again.

"What room should we venture to first?"

Martin had headed towards a more quiet corner of the classroom to collect himself. After a short, peptalk of an inner monologue he crept towards Jason Brant.
"I'm lost," he admitted, rubbing his forehead, "Where are you going?"

Caleb absentmindedly hummed a tune as he strolled. He could feel his eyelids growing heavy. Falling asleep in the hallway would not be very becoming of him. Performing his usual habit of blinking a few seconds before waking up, he perched his neck and took in the regal surroundings of the school. Drapes flowed with fringes of all colors adorning them. He hadn't seen anything like it since the Globe Theater. He felt his heart warm.

Before he knew it, he was at the Tea Room. He gave a couple of polite knocks before craning his head in.

"Is anyone else present? May I come in?"

Dark looked down at his feet and stared. "I'm not British... I'm not of understanding nickname..." He seemed to be in deep thought for a moment, then looked at the map on his wrist.

"Sun room," he said quietly. "We can go?"

"Hold on lemme look at my map!" Minerva said. "Let's look at every room, starting with the... Dining room! But we can take votes too."

She added the last sentence after hearing Dark speak.

Cobalt whipped his hand around, pointing at Dark and nodding.

"That plan sounds fabulous!  We've nothing to gain standing about! Why not split up then, and work from opposite ends of the building?"

"Oh, uh, sorry to cause any problem, Lisa! I'll meet you out there!" he called to her as she headed out, adding a wave.

He looked at Martin as he spoke and shrugged. "Not sure, I was gonna head out with Lisa. She wanted to see the elevator, I think?" he scratched his headband, trying to remember. "Eh, either way, she's waiting outside. Let's get going!" he said in the peppiest voice he could offer, and walked out, Martin in tow.

Jaden chimed in excitedly. "I'm fine with the sun room! Could always use a little sun!" He looked a little embarrassed. "Shit. That was weird of me to say, wasn't it..."

Dakota barged into the Hot Tub, not noticing the others. Either that or she was ignoring them.
"I don't gotta swimsuit..." She muttered, before nearly bumping into Miranda. "Oh, did you find one?"

"Huh?" Miranda froze when she heard Antoine. "Aw shit, sorry," She laughed wholeheartedly, dropping all the towels but the ones around her neck and midriff. "Whoah... didn't notice those windows."

She stepped forwards. "We have some real good perv control, am I right?" She giggled.

She stepped with uncanny speed when Dakota came in. "Woah, you ok there?"

When she saw Jason exit the room with Martin, she unlocked her chair and wheeled herself over.

"So is this our group then? Great! I know we just introduced ourselves, but it was weird, so... my name's Lisa!" She extended a hand to the boys.

Ruby fiddled with her bracelets before speaking up.

"There are six of us, though. I think we'd cover more ground by splittin' into twos and each checkin' a room."

Minerva nodded. "Yheah, let's split into threes! The sun room group can go and the dining room group can come with me!"

"...What was I expecting?" Jason shrugged, stepping into the room after poking his head in. He sat down at one of the tables, putting his feet on it.

"Hopefully that cop doesn't come in... she's nice but dang I'm probably breakin' some rules. Huh." he lowered his feet. When Caleb came in, he was glad he did.

"Hey dude!" He waved almost immediately, giving him a smile. "Uh, wanna get some tea?"

"The elevator," Martin thought for a moment and then a mental lightbulb went off, "The map has only one floor." He shrugged, "Curious. Ill come." He walked with Jason at a steady pace.
