Day 2: (Ab)normal Days

Patrick timidly walked out of his room, his eyes a bit watery. He made his way into the kitchen to get something to eat.

Cobalt stretched his arm across his chest before addressing the others on watch.

"We made the night with no incident!" A yawn betrayed his cheery tone.

Jason ... looked up from his book and down at his bracelet. "6 a.m. already? Huh..."

As if on-cue, his stomach rumbled. He couldn't help the tiny laugh that escaped him and forced him out of the comfortable bean-bag chair he'd made a home in, out of the library, and over to the pantry.

Claire groaned at the sight of the bear. "Let's get this show on the road then," she muttered, hoisting herself up from her bed. She slipped into her sundress and grabbed her boa from atop the bookshelf. Satisfied, she did a little twirl and made her way out of her room. Easy, breezy, beautiful.

Lux was sprawled out on the ground beside the elevator in a rare state of calm. They had chocolate smudged near their mouth, and their eyeliner had seen better days. As the alarm buzzed them into consciousness, they took a huge stretch and a yawn.

Luckily, Cobalt's pleasant demeanor was enough to rouse them into something closer to their normal state. "Fuck yeah we did!" they affirmed. "High fives all around!"

They raised their hands towards the people around them in excited anticipation.

Ariel walked out of Avery's room, letting him get his last few seconds of sleep. She glanced around the hallways to see who made it.

After seeing Cobalt and Lux high five each other, she bit her lip. "We should probably do a roll call in the kitchen before we're so sure everyone's here."

Cobalt high fived Lux back, hopping to reach their hand.

Miranda walked out of her room as soon as the announcement started, taking a spot near the elevator where she could see the hallway.

She was rather quiet, and seemed to be playing with a knife in her hands, eyes glued to Martin's door.

Martin woke up at the first sign of an announcement. Groggy, he groaned as the voice of the bear reminded him of the situation he had woken up to.
He rolled out of bed, passing by the spoils of last night. All his trouble, and he got a monobear brand monospeedo?

He put on his non-speedo clothes and headed out of the door cautiously.

Lisa rolled over in bed with a groan.

"Lemme just..." Realization dawned on her face as her sleepy brain placed the voice. "Should probably get up."

Once in her chair she moved to her bathroom, fixed her ponytail and clothes, and exited into the hall.

Judas walked out of his room with a very Animal Crossing-esque bedhead and a loud yawn. Stretching his arms behind his head, the sound of his joints cracking and popping was maybe a bit too loud. His shirt was much more wrinkled than it was the day before.

"Food ... fooooood ... food ..."

Seeing Martin (someone who looked half in control of himself) he plodded over to him with a zoned-out, zombie-like expression his face. "You."

Jordan gave a drowsy smile to Cobalt and Lux.

"We sure...did it." She said, clearly rather tired. "...I really need coffee."

Jason looked a bit better this morning, coming out from his dorm with two pairs of pliers in his hands. He seemed to be doing something in his hands, but his hair seemed different- the ends didn't have the flash of metal on the ends now.

He almost bumped into a few people, rousing him from his focus. "Ah, sorry..." he mumbled.

Antoine sat up at the announcement, brushing his bangs from his face.

"Mornings."

He swung his legs over the side of his bed, shivering a bit outside the sheets. Once his clothes were back on and hair strategically messed up he walked into the hall and glanced around.

Martin saw Miranda in the hallway, holding a knife and felt a chill run down his spine. "HEY! Remember what I told you-" He was cut short by Judas.

"What." He replied to the punk child, a bit snappy as it was morning and he was already wound up by Miranda.

Jaden woke up and yawned heavily. He got dressed and made his way out, seeing a bunch of the others doing the same. "Oh my god I need food. Where's the kitchen again?"

He checked his bracelet but looked up and saw Judas talking to Martin. He quietly walked over to them, not trying to intrude on their conversation but curious what was up.

Patrick grabbed an apple from the perishables cabinet and slumped himself against the counter. After taking a tiny bite, he couldn't eat anymore and pressed the apple against his face.

"Stupid... idiot..." he muttered to himself.

Miranda giggled. "Aw, it's so easy to rile you up, Marty," She put a hand up to her mouth.

"Well, it looks like nobody died, anyways. I suppose your little quest was successful, though now perhaps it might be a bit harder to cut vegetables..."

"No. I will not." Dark murmered, pulling the covers higher over his head. "Fucking six in morning. What the fuck."

He looked up to Martin with a dull, unbothered expression on his face and poked him in the chest, right on his blue ... tie thing.

"Fooooooood. Where is the food?"

Jake strolled out of Isaac's room with its owner in tow. He pulled a scrap of paper out of his pants pocket and scribbled a quick message to the boy in question.

"Where to?"

Avery was, by all means, looking like a mess. His coat was off and his silk shirt wasn't even buttoned. His eyes were red, and his hair a bit more... messy than usual. Part of it was sticking up in the opposite direction.

He heaved a hiccuping sigh, wiping at his face before closing his door.

Cobalt followed after Lux and Ariel, yawning and rubbing at his eyes.

"Nothing seemed to happen last night, as far as we saw. So that's a good sign!"

Rachel leaves her room looking as if she Hadn't seen a dead body only yesterday! There was a bright smile on her face as she looked around at her fellow classmates, seeing them all Alive. She doesn't exactly try to talk to any of them, though, as she quickly walked over to the kitchen.
