Day 1: Introduction

More people! Still with monohead on head, Miranda poked her head back in. "Wait! Be careful. It's only a few hours old, I checked! So there must be a murderer among us! Or something like that... Nothing to be alarmed, really!"

Upon entering the Banquet Hall, Jake noticed the frantic airbrush artist shoving a chair against the door and walked closer, but not too close.

"Isaac, you good? You look like you've seen a ghost or something," he asked with concern.

"C'mon, don't leave me beh-" she skidded to a stop so hard she flipped herself out of her chair, too distracted to catch herself.

"You're kidding, right?" Jordan said, looking at Miranda's face. Cobalt's voice, however confirmed the worse.

Sorry Cobalt, but she just had to see.
She walked in and gasped. "Oh my god..." She turned to Miranda, flinching upon seeing she was wearing a bear head with pink splotches. "You found this? Just like this?"
There was blood on Miranda's hands; she was suspicious at best. After all, one of the students even said he was an assassin.

Claire followed Jake in, noticing Isaac. "Hey, that's not very cool. What if someone wants to come in that way?" She looked around.

"Hm. Looks like there's no food in here. Just some chairs and a whole lot of seating."

"Shoot, there's no food here!" Patrick exclaimed. "I guess you're supposed to take food from the pantry here."

"Everyone good to-" he stopped, after seeing Isaac. "I-i-is everything OK?"

Miranda took a few steps forwards, the mask really obscuring her vision. She stepped on Lisa, and the imbalance that cause made her fall straight onto her front, yelping in surprise.

Once on the floor, she immediately took the head off. "Yeah, and I decided to see how old it was! I remember you can tell how long ago a body was dead by how warm it is! It's like... a degree a hour?"

Martin nearly wretched as Avery slapped a spit-covered hand into his.
"You bastard." Martin growled as he pushed past Avery to get to the library.

"Yes, I actually do, alright!?"

Lux looked into the pantry with a blank smile before digging - well, diving rather - into the first available box and retrieving a box of Cosmic Brownies and two Monster energy drinks. They tossed a brownie and a drink to Rachel before ripping open a pastry themselves. They practically swallowed it in a gulp before chasing it with Monster.

Jason did not like the fervor Isaac was trying to barricade himself in with. "There's... three doors dude..." He looked a bit worried. "Did... something happen? Something happened, didn't it?"

Dark stepped out of the elevator on the second floor and looked at his map to help navigate. "All locked out." He shoved his watch in Antoine's face and pointed. "Those our rooms?" Before waiting for an answer Dark turned the corner and looked down the hallway at all of the bedrooms. "Weird."

"B-but someone-" He tried to tug away from Jason "someone needs help..."

Avery followed Martin, following him with a cackle. Like a demented little hyena.

As soon as he was in the library, he silently moved over to Ariel's side, smirking like a cat who caught a mouse.

Isaac turned away from the China cabinet, only to see a group of people suddenly behind him. Fuck, he almost had a heart attack, but no one seemed aggressive. In fact they all seemed concerned.

Regardless, he could not read 3 lips at once.
At least one of these people might understand ASL, right? Right...? What could he even say?

Isaac signed with shaky hands 'Someone is dead.'

Claire's eyes went wide and she stared blankly at Isaac. She signed back, "really?"

"Avery, glad to see you made it," Ariel smirked back. "This looks like a pretty normal library to me, so I'm sure I'll find where they keep the magazines...."

"Mind checking out the den while I keep looking?"

The doors to the bedrooms have pixel renditions of the student it belongs.

"Claire...tell us what's going on," Jake said in a serious tone.

"Are those supposed to be us?" He gestured toward the closest door's sign.

Patrick's eyes started to water. He felt lost. Confused. Something was up, he didn't know sign language and his stomach kept growling at him - too many things to think of at once.

"Kid," he said softly, "we gotta help them by helping ourselves. Let's get outta here and regroup, okay?"

He looked down at Lisa as she wiped out and let go of Cobalt's cape, kneeling down next to her. "Hey, Lisa, hey. Need help getting up?"

Avery gave a mock salute. "Aye-aye Ariel!" he cackled, skipping off into the smaller room with a speed not known to someone wearing high heels.

"DVDS!" He screeched, recognizing it imemdiately, "Dvds! Dvds!" No doubt he beelined there, launching at the collection to look at the titles. "Aw, no Spring Break Gone Wild. Just High School Musical... uh... some animated shit. HEY ARIEL! ANIME."

Claire groaned at Jacob and stepped between her group and Isaac. "I'll interpret," she both signed and said aloud. "Someone is dead," she said, gesturing to Isaac to show that he was the one who said it.

She turned to Isaac and wagged her index finger in the air, the sign for "where."

"If you could just sit my chair up and lock it."  Her voice was quiet. "And if you could get off of me." It was just loud enough to not be a mumble.
