Day 1: Introduction

Jake rolled his eyes and stood up, making his way towards Isaac. He gestured at him, trying to get his attention without laying a hand on him.

Ariel firmly placed her hand on Avery's shoulder.

"You're not going to die."

With her posture unnaturally straight, she walked out of the banquet hall and headed to the elevators.

He nodded. "I think we all do. I'll see you in the morning, then."

Antoine left, hands in his pockets and face painfully neutral.

Isaac was already walking away. He needed to go to his room.

He just tried to navigate his way through the aggressive, terrified bodies and made his way out into the hall closest to the elevator. That was, until he saw someone Jacob gesture to him out of the corner of his eye.

He looked up, eyes red, and trying his hardest to hold it in.
"What." He signed, even though he knew it was probably futile. He didn't know sign language did he?

He looked up at Jason for a few moments before pushing the hand off of his shoulder and standing up.

"Sure, Jay. Sure." he said, avoiding Jason's eyes.

"HEY!" he shouts for anyone who's curious to hear, "DARTS TOURNAMENT IN THE BILLIARDS ROOM. WINNER GETS -- shit, I don't know -- I'LL MAKE DINNER FOR THE WINNER?"

And with that important message yelled, lead the way out. "C'mon. Let's go."

Claire made her way over to where Isaac and Jacob were outside in the hall. "Hey, what'd I miss? Let's stick together." She was signing so Isaac could understand. "I may not like most everyone here, but I'd rather not see you two die."

Lisa rolled to Jason and Judas.

"... I think I'll come by, then." With that, she left.

Cobalt looked to the map. "It seems our best bet is to stay by the elevator. I suggest the second floor. Does that work?"

"Drop the act already, bitch," Jake scoffed at Claire. "I know your type. And Isaac doesn't need that shit right now."

He turned to Isaac and spoke as slowly as possible. "I'm going," he said, pointing to the door to indicate his point.

"You can come with me – " he pointed to himself. "Or die with her," he said, pointing to Claire.

Lost in the confusion of how distracting the watch's UI was, Patrick nearly missed all of his classmates walking out.

"W-w..." he said.

He glanced over to Cobalt's group and heard them discussing plans for watch. "Do you guys mind if I join...? Four people is way too many to risk a murder, so?"

Claire raised her eyebrows in genuine surprise, for only a moment. "Oh, my type?" she snapped back.

"Fine. Be that way, you're just like the rest. A complete dumbass. You deserve it if you die tonight." She turned to Isaac and signed. "Good night, Isaac. Stay safe."

And she was gone.

Isaac looked a bit choked up as suddenly two people came up to him. This was too much.

"I want to be al-" he started signing a response but then watched as the two began to fight, his hands dropped down again, mid-sign, as he read their lips.
He signed a "Good night. You too." to Claire.

He turned back to Jake and gave him a general "Follow me" signal before turning out into the hallway.

Lux's eyes lit up when they saw Patrick.

"Y-yeah, that's true!" they turned to Cobalt and Jordan. "I dunno if you guys know Pat, but he's real smart! He can totally help us!"

"And Cobby, that works!"

Jake sighed and looked down at the floor. Arms crossed, he followed Isaac into the hallway.

Jordan gave a sigh of relief.

"Alright, this looks good. I agree with Cobalt, staying by the bedrooms sounds like a good bet for watching people." With that she walked towards the door, keeping a careful eyes on everyone's movements.

Cobalt nodded to his companions and left the room.

Isaac grunted as a paper was shoved into him, seemingly upset over the disrespect to paper.
"Gross." He signed, before turning to Jake. He normally didn't take orders, but he wasn't going to complain when the alternative was getting any closer to the body. It was much worse than yesterday, but at least he wasn't freaking out.

He went into the bathroom, inspecting any cabinets and the shower.
